What changed
Pinellas County opened public comment on Draft Action Plan 3.0 on Oct. 23, and the comment period runs through Nov. 22. The county says the amendment is available for review and comment, and that the action plan must be accepted by HUD before the county can access federal recovery funds.
What the county says about business aid
On its small-business recovery page, the county says programs for small businesses are still being developed from the CDBG-DR grant, while housing and individual assistance are the first priorities.
The action-plan page's Preliminary Program Budget lists $32,147,393 for the Economy category and $22,147,393 for the Small Business Community Recovery Program.
Residents and business owners who want to weigh in can review the amendment before the Nov. 22 deadline.
