Pinellas property tax bills start mailing Friday, with November’s biggest discount
The Pinellas County Tax Collector says 2026 bills go out Oct. 30, online payments open Nov. 1 and the largest early-payment discount is available in November.

How to pay
Beginning Nov. 2, property owners can pay at any Pinellas County Tax Collector office or by mail, after online bills and payments open Nov. 1. The office says eCheck payments do not add fees, while credit and debit cards do carry a 2.5% vendor fee. If you have questions about property values or assessments, the tax collector says those go to the Property Appraiser’s Office, not its own staff. [f1,f5,f6]
| Month | Discount |
|---|---|
| November | 4% |
| December | 3% |
| January | 2% |
| February | 1% |
| March | No discount |
What the bill covers
The 2026 tax roll includes 495,057 accounts totaling more than $2.75 billion, and collected taxes are then distributed to 56 local taxing authorities. Those recipients include the School Board, Board of County Commissioners, municipalities and libraries. [f3,f4]
Deadlines to keep in mind
The biggest savings come in November, and the discount drops each month after that. Any taxes unpaid after March 31, 2027, become delinquent on April 1, 2027. The tax collector also says Florida Amendment 3 will not change 2026 bills, and any changes from that vote would not start until the 2027 tax year. [f2,f7]
